We Make Stuff Happen & BBH Global - Branded Experiential Marketing

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with BBH & We Make Stuff Happen to bring to life a number of wonderful Experiential Marketing events. Finding the right people to be on the ground is vital, and Experiential Marketing presents unique challenges in finding personnel. As the front-line between audiences and the brand, they need to deliver the right feel for each individual client, as well as deliver some unusual requests!

Our team have covered Event Manager and Event Assistant roles on a number of exciting experiences.

Our first project with We Make Stuff Happen was the launch of Netflix’s Obsession designed by BBH Global - London, in which a number of performers played a character from the series, and encouraged audiences to share their own secrets in exchange for Coco de Mer branded products in limited edition packaging created for the event. This presented a challenge in finding the right people, who were comfortable with the subject matter and could confidently work in the space, delivering the key brand messaging while putting audiences at ease; and in providing sufficient safeguarding and support for them to interact with members of the public around sensitive subject matter. The event was a great success, and sparked many more collaborations since!

We also supplied Event Managers and Event Assistants for recent BBH Global - London campaign ‘Bundles of Joy’ for Burger King, the ‘Arrived At’ ads featuring new mums enjoying Whoppers. Our team worked at several London hospitals to let new parents there know about the initiative and celebrate with a free Whopper from Burger King. This involved managing delivery logistics, and of course engaging with expectant/new parents during a very overwhelming time so it was vital to have a team that could handle this.

Our brilliant Brand Ambassadors supported We Make Stuff Happen to deliver a press event celebrating Tombola’s sponsorship of I’m A Celebrity on Tottenham Court Road. They ran AR experiences where audiences could experience critters from the show “crawling’ on them. Our wonderful team utilised their people skills and knowledge as performers to really bring this event to life, instantly knowing how to make the “Critter Challenge” fun and memorable while also delivering key talking points for the brand.

Our largest collaboration with We Make Stuff Happen was for Brighton Pride 2024 - providing a team of Block Captains to ensure the smooth delivery of the Pride Parade at the UK’s largest Pride festival. We sourced a team of ten people who all needed to have solid Event Management credentials as they would be overseeing multiple floats each throughout the parade, from wristbanding and health & safety checks at the beginning all the way through to safely offboarding at the end of the day. They calmly dealt with challenges such as counter protests, road diversions, delays, intoxicated patrons and even the wheels literally falling off a float at one stage! It was a physically and mentally demanding day, but their experience and dedication meant that everyone reached the end of the parade safely with minimal delays, and with the parade participants feeling valued and supported and communicated with at every step.

“I've worked with Dan and Laura’s teams on a number of events now -  press launches and immersive experiences and experiential activation stands, and their teams are always professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced at what they do. There's not many staffing agencies where I feel I could book their event managers and not need to be lurking in the shadows 'just incase' - but with Dan's teams I feel, following a briefing, I can trust they'll make sure it runs well and our clients and customers are looked after.”
